Some totally biased news now about a film that I’m in! (Watch the trailer below and see if you can spot me in Ancient India and also in full body makeup. The Scopia Effect is headed to DVD on February the 15th and it’s a doozy (even if I do say so myself). But don’t just listen to my opinion, here’s what other people have been saying…
“Superbly tense” ★★★★ – HeyUGuys
“A striking debut” – Jonathan Hatfull, SciFi Now
“A darkly compelling, powerful film” ★★★★½ – Britflicks
“An impressively mounted assault on your nerves” – Vodzilla
“It scared me because I am a wuss. I liked it though.” – My mate Clare
Written & Directed by Christopher Butler, The Scopia Effect is his debut feature film filmed over four years and unbelievably on a shoe string budget. Christopher Butler is working on his next couple of projects which are in development for next year also so definately one to watch….and so’s this film.
What’s it about? Here’s the synopsis:
Reincarnation goes horribly wrong causing glitches to echo through reality. Through hypnosis, Basia (Joanna Ignaczewska) opens up parts of her mind that should never be accessed, releasing a dark energy. The lines between her past lives start to blur, upsetting the balance of her very existence. Her reality becomes increasingly unstable as she battles to hang onto what is real.
