Ethan Hawke Signs on for Low-Budget Film Vigilandia

Ethan Hawke in Sinister

Ethan Hawke has been cast in James DeMonaco’s futuristic thriller “Vigilandia” for Universal Pictures, Blumhouse Productions, Platinum Dunes Productions and Why Not Productions. It is part of a previously announced first-look deal to produce low-budget genre films with Blumhouse.

Written and Directed by DeMonaco, the story is being kept under wraps but filming will start on February 13th.

Hawke and DeMonaco have worked together in the past. The actor also appeared in DeMonaco’s directorial debut, Little New York and the remake of Assault On Precinct 13.

As well as the remake of “Total Recall” hitting cinema‘s on 22nd August, Hawke can also be seen in found footage supernatural horror “Sinister” from 24th August.
