Philadelphia, PA, USA – Sabrina “Sabre” Ocasio returns to her hometown Philadelphia, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Autoimmune Metro Style Charity Fashion Show (AIMS) benefiting Autoimmune Diseases and Breast Cancer Research. The weekend will include three days of fashion one in which is in collaboration with and taking place in King of Prussia Mall with Lord & Taylor. The weekend of events will convene on Friday August 17, 2018 through Sunday August 19, 2018. Fashion designers, models, influencers, community leaders, families, and celebrities come together to raise awareness for Autoimmune Diseases with proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society.
The entire weekend will be filled with exciting, entertaining, enlightening, and productive activities for all of the young people confirmed to participate in the 10 Year Anniversary of #AIMSK18. Confirmed activities include acting workshops, modeling workshops, industry insiders from veterans, social events, live music, and more! Autoimmune Metro Style Charity Fashion Show 2K18 will bring together designers, models, fashion industry representatives, sponsors and vendors, all of whom want to support the consistent advocacy of Sabrina “Sabre” Ocasio, the founder of #AIMSK18!
The Autoimmune Metro Style Charity Fashion Show features a variety of aspiring designers showcasing their creative works for a cause. “AIMS provides a plethora of opportunities for young people and adults of all nationalities to express their voice through style, fashion and culture, while spreading awareness of Autoimmune Diseases”, mentions Sabre’. Models between the ages of 4 years old and 25 years old grace the runway, making AIMS very inclusive, family orientated, and a youth friendly occasion. The proceeds from the event is donated to fund programs, support groups and eventually a Graves’ Disease Center that is planned to open in Philadelphia in the coming years. This year a portion of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to support cancer research and development towards a cure.

About the Producer
Sabre’ is a former Model, CEO of Sabre’ Inc. and Graves’ Disease advocate. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sabre’ became a Ford Model not to long after being noticed on the streets of New York City by a model scout. This gave her the opportunity to grow and work with the best in her field. After years of modeling Sabre’ was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease, moving from in front of the camera to behind the scenes. Sabre’ now focuses her career on teaching and directing models with her own company Sabre’ Inc. started here in Philadelphia. Sabre continues to be sought after by schools, organizations and her fashion industry peers, wanting her expertise as a part of their programs. She is also monthly contributor to pageant and model publication Le Reve Magazine. Her most prized efforts go into her annual charity event Autoimmune Metro Style Fashion Show. “I wanted to promote autoimmune disease awareness through my love of fashion” said Sabre’. The show garners support from her peers in the beauty and entertainment realm across the nation.
