St. Louis, MO, August 25, 2018 — The Lupus Foundation of America, Heartland Chapter will be hosting their upcoming Lupus Education Conference on Sat., September 22 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Lodge Des Peres.

The conference will spotlight keynote speaker Hope Argenziano, MD, of Valley Bone & Joint Clinic in Grand Forks, N.D. She will share her unique perspective of living with lupus while diagnosing and treating others with the disease.

Katherine Temprano, MD and Alfred Kim, MD, PhD will also be presenting. Dr. Temprano, a rheumatologist at BJC Healthcare, will discuss what to expect and how to better manage lupus. Dr. Kim, the co-director of the Lupus Clinic at Washington University School of Medicine, will present current developments in lupus research and a review of hopeful lupus research on the horizon.

The conference will conclude with insightful Ask the Doctor breakout sessions. Walgreens will provide flu shots and blood pressure screenings, and there will be several exhibitors in attendance.

Check-in will begin at 9 a.m., and the conference will kick off at 10 a.m. Registration is required with limited seating, and the cost is $10 per person, which covers a light lunch. All are invited to attend.
