Previously, he worked as a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1959 until 1986 and as a research assistant at Syracuse University from 1954 until 1959. Dr. Johnson's first position in the field was that of a test engineer for General Electric in the early 1950s.

Over the years, Dr. Johnson has also found success through positions at the Amoco Research Center and the University of Central Florida. Moreover, he has written a number of works, including “The Layman's Guide to Understand the Global Warming Hoax” in 2008, “Understanding the Global Warming Hoax – Expanded and Updated” in 2009 and “Corruption, Fraud and Tyranny in the Science of Global Warming and Climate Change” in 2019.

Before starting in the field, Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy from Syracuse University in 1955 and 1959, respectively. Furthermore, he has contributed to his community through the Saint Brigid School Board of Education, the Bedminster Planning Board and the Bedminster School Board of Education. Due to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Johnson was celebrated with a feature in Who's Who in the East in 1992.
