We see this partnership with Berlitz as a way to truly showcase EduSynch as a disruptor in the tech-based English language training and assessment domain.
NEW YORK November 28, 2017
EduSynch is pleased to announce that the company has signed a deal with Berlitz Corporation to adopt EduSynch as one of its primary platforms for English language proficiency assessment and training. EduSynch will be integrated into Berlitz’s new online platform, Berlitz Online, to premiere in Latin America in 2017.
By integrating the EduSynch platform into the Berlitz Online offering, Berlitz is taking steps in their efforts to provide both their institutional clients as well as individual consumers access to a high-quality, digital training platform for the world’s most common English language exams – TOEFL®, IELTS, and TOEIC® specifically.
Berlitz Latin America is spearheading the adoption of the EduSynch platform, with the launch slated for Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil in 2017, to be followed by the rest of the region in Q1 2018.
Berlitz Corporation is a leading global language education company with headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey. “The Berlitz Method” has become world renowned as it uses a direct method of learning a second language by focusing on language usage as a tool for communication.
While fluency levels vary greatly around Latin America, students across the region spend on average 5 years in English language learning institutions. With internet penetration rates at 50% (average) and cell phone penetration at over 70% (average), affordable digital language training solutions are rapidly being adopted by both individuals and language learning institutions region-wide.
“We see this partnership with Berlitz as a way to truly showcase EduSynch as a disruptor in the tech-based English language training and assessment domain,” says Sean Kilachand, Founder & CEO of EduSynch. “This is merely the beginning of a long-term relationship that can really change the game for both EduSynch and Berlitz.”
“It is estimated that over 8 million individuals around the world took the TOEFL® and IELTS tests in 2016,“ says Kartik Kilachand, Chairman of EduSynch. “The Berlitz partnership will allow us to provide individualized and affordable training/testing to the many instead of just the privileged few.”
