MINNETONKA, Minn., June 14, 2019 – Called to provide a safe dance floor for the Elevate Youth Dance Festival in 2017, CREO Arts and Dance Conservatory owner and director Christa Anderson-Hill looked into a recommendation by a friend and colleague from St. Paul Ballet to check out Greatmats.com.
At Greatmats, she found not only a professional quality marley dance surface but a portable dance subflooring system as well to protect the dancers.
One of her favorite features of the purchase was the ease of repeat installation.
“The Marley lays out flat in just under 10 minutes and the subfloor is easy to put together, especially with many hands,” Christa said. “Other dance studio owners were impressed and thankful that we provided a safe floor for their dancers.”
Dance Studio Flooring
A little over a year after purchasing her first set of Greatmats dance flooring, Christa decided to merge her two schools – CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory of Wayzata, Minnesota, and Tonka Dance Works – into one school located in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
With the merger and move, Christa decided to build out the school in an 8,000-square-foot warehouse space and needed more marley flooring.
“I knew Greatmats would provide the quality product we needed to ensure both safety and aesthetic,” she said.
So she ordered an additional 2,100 square feet of Rosco Adagio dance flooring from Greatmats to allow the nine-year-old business to continue to help dancers find their inner choreographers through the Christian values of wholesomeness, kindness and love above all.
