This year Laura Powers, U.S. CEO of Radtac and an acknowledged international leader for business transformation through Lean & Agile ways of working, was recognized in the 2019 class of Women of Influence for her contributions in advancing Agile business.

San Jose, CA, June 27, 2019 — Every year the Silicon Valley Journal honors women who have had influence in their industries and made notable contributions to the community.

This year Laura Powers, U.S. CEO of Radtac was recognized in the 2019 class of Women of Influence for her contributions in advancing Agile methods of working.

Powers is an ideas-maker. As an engineer and manager, she has engaged in designing aircraft engines, diapers, electric cars, and software systems at Hewlett Packard, Sales.com, and eBay. As the U.S. CEO of Radtac, she leads a global team of consultants with a focus on agile, lean, and design thinking practices for client companies at the team, organizational, and enterprise levels. She teaches Agile for Stanford University Continuing Studies and is a recognized international keynote and conference speaker.

In addition to her professional status as a certified Agile practitioner, consultant and teacher, she has served in many non-profit roles advocating agile working and to mentor women to lead in the agile community of practice. These include Co-founding the Women in Agile Chapter in San Francisco and serving as co-chair of the Coaching and Mentoring track for the Agile 2019 Conference, the largest Agile conference in the world.
