Lori Sharpe has been named Vice President, Sales and Distribution of Preferred Mutual Insurance Company (“Preferred Mutual”). Sharpe will be responsible for managing and driving sales, with a key focus on profitability, retention, and agency management strategies.

Sharpe’s insurance career spans more than 25 years, with expertise in deepening agency relationships to drive premium growth, profitability and revenues for independent agents. Most recently, Sharpe was the Assistant Vice President & Regional Manager, Business Development at a national property and casualty insurer where she oversaw sales and distribution for a five-state region. She also served as the Director and State Manager of Business Development, where she led key business development initiatives into new territories as well as the expansion of current agency territories.

Sharpe has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University and has earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
