A hard-working and dedicated professional, Ms. Nguyen studied at the Vietnam National University, Saigon

THOUSAND OAKS, CA, July 10, 2019 — Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Mai T. Nguyen with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Nguyen celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Supported by decades of professional excellence, Ms. Nguyen has excelled as a freelance writer in California since 1986 after working as an administrative assistant for the Tandon Corp. for three years. Earlier, she worked as an administrative manager for the Connell Brothers Co. Ltd. from 1959 until 1975 and as a secretary for the General Society of Surveillance, now SGS, at the Belgium Consulate in Vietnam from 1954 until 1957. She has written a number of books, including “Y Troi,” which was written in Vietnamese in three months and later translated by her into “God's Will,” so that people around the world could read her story. Ms. Nguyen continues to offer her gratitude to God for having infused in her the belief that she could make it. She is proud of her determination and perseverance. Many American readers have compared her work to that of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and Boris Pasternak, while her romance novels are compared to Danielle Steel, Mary Higgins Clark, Barbara Cartland, and Dan Brown. Her stories are so graphic that many have expected them to become movies, envisioning her as the protagonist.

A hard-working and dedicated professional, Ms. Nguyen studied at the Vietnam National University, Saigon in 1960. In an effort to remain up to date with developments in her field, she maintains professional affiliation with the Independent Scholars of Asia and the National Writers Association. Throughout her career, Ms. Nguyen has authored and self-published 37 books until 2019 including “Little Daisy” in 1998, “Shadow of Happiness” in 2002 and “A Certain Kind of Life” in 2018. In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Ms. Nguyen has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website.
