Launched in 2009, Tumbler & Tipsy will return this year to Style360 NYFW for its 8th year debuting collections to larger audiences. Michael ensures that each piece being shown in the collection will be “a one-of-a-kind” item in collaboration with street artists for the youthful feel that has been a part of the Tumbler & Tipsy brand. A staple of this season, Michael has engineered clothing using magnetic technology designed to be stylish while being accessible for people with disabilities. In 2016 and in collaboration with CreakyJoints®, the digital, patient-driven arthritis community, Michael spoke out about his experience with Rheumatoid Arthritis and has now successfully created an innovative accessory line consisting of jewelry and belts.
Michael states: “I have partnered with PAOM [Print All Over Me] to design this magnetic collection that will be available to the public on our official website (http://www.TumblerandTipsy.com) as soon as it hits the runway! I have designed magnetic clothing from casual day wear to athletic wear and even to some dress clothing…CLAC Belts is another collaboration that was formed in order to produce new magnetic belts that are strong enough to go through leather! We are designing new belts that will coincide with our collection and also be a help with getting dressed and undressed each day.”
An all-inclusive show that has always represented various members of the community, Tumbler & Tipsy has always welcomed various celebrity faces to attend and participate in the show. Previous celebrity guests that have walked in Michael’s show include Kendall Jenner, Neon Hitch (English Singer & Songwriter), Asia Monet Ray (“Dance Mom’s”) and the late Rick Genest who was the face of the collection for the Fall / Winter 2013 campaign.
