SAN RAFAEL, Calif.

The 2019 Mountain West Championship is the Aztecs first since 2015 and their fourth championship overall.

San Diego State's fourth title puts the Aztecs in a tie with Boise State for the most conference title among active Mountain West members.

The Aztecs set three conference records over the four-day event, including in the 100 breast and the 200 and 400 medley relay teams.

The Aztecs will be well represented at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas from March 20-23, sending 3 swimmers, tied for the most of any Mid-Major program.

“I am so proud of this team, winning our conference championship is an amazing accomplishment and sending three swimmers to the NCAA Championships is huge for the program,” says SDSU Assistant Swimming Coach, Steve Allnutt. “I'm also very excited to help the next generation of swimmers at our Nike Swim Camp this summer at SDSU.”

The San Diego State Swim Camp is known for its near-perfect climate, and provides the ideal setting for swimmers to improve their stroke technique this summer and have some fun over the 4th of July week.

This 2019 competitive swim camp runs June 30th to July 3rd with campers training daily at the Aztec Aquaplex, home of the San Diego State Swimming and Diving Team.
