One of the thousands of creative talents from over 95 countries that display their work on YourArtGallery.com is Russian artist Natalia Marinych.
At YAG, we believe in creating the opportunity for every photographer and artist to participate in the art gallery experience. Arts Thread is seen as a launchpad for the next generation of creative talent, and YAG wants to play a role in helping all these artists develop a professional portfolio.
NEW YORK July 01, 2019
A recently announced global partnership between Your Art Gallery (YAG), the first-of-its-kind, artist-focused online gallery, and Arts Thread, the leading global digital platform for emerging artists and designers, is creating a unique and new opportunity for artists around the world to showcase and market their work and jumpstart their careers.
Hundreds of photographers already display and sell their work through YAG’s digital gallery. The partnership with London-based Arts Thread will take that initiative to a new level, opening opportunities for 300,000 art students from more than 780 design schools spanning 100-plus countries.
Says YAG marketing manager Danielle Albertz,”All of us at YAG believe in creating the opportunity for every photographer and artist to participate in the art gallery experience. Arts Thread is seen as a launchpad for the next generation of creative talent, and YAG wants to play a role in helping all these artists develop a professional portfolio.”
Through the online gallery YourArtGallery.com, YAG allows artists to display and sell their work. “This experience is realized in a unique way for each artist,” says Albertz. “We target a range of different art buyers; such as, collectors, curators, designers and individual enthusiasts. They can browse thousands of images, through a variety of search criteria, from artists around the world that they otherwise might not have been able to see. It is an amazingly simple and beyond rewarding selection process. We’re opening up this entire gallery experience to thousands of art students through Arts Thread. ”
“We work with thousands of exquisitely talented artists every day,” says VP, Marketing & E-Commerce Heather Griffin. “Collaborating with Arts Thread is a big deal. The student artists will have direct access to the professional YAG team, and we will help them fully understand and participate in the gallery experience. We’re not just about making money, we’re about empowering students and providing them with additional support as they enter the art world.”
Arts Thread bridges the gap between education and the creative industry. For the first time ever, design students, graduates, universities, schools and the creative industry can network worldwide. Through YAG, emerging artists can harness the power of social marketing, building online profiles and developing digital networks to help promote their work and connect with arts buyers and others in the fine arts and design fields.
“We are really excited here at Arts Thread to be partnering with YAG on this excellent new initiative. It will allow emerging creatives globally to advance their careers and be seen worldwide,” says Alex Brownless, co-founder/co-president of Arts Thread.
To further promote the artists, both YAG and Arts Thread will sponsor contests and present curated exhibitions. Emerging artists participating in Arts Thread will also have access to YAG’s resources, including thought leadership on pricing, marketing and branding for creative work.
“We see this partnership as a sizable benefit to our YAG audiences,” adds Griffin. “The Arts Thread collaboration is going to provide more access to thought leaders who will speak through our YAG portal. Imagine an emerging artist engaging our YAG artists on topics such as pricing work, marketing & branding – we are building up an entirely new generation of artists.”
