West Springfield, Massachusetts, October 24, 2017 (PressRelease.com) – Scuderi Group, Inc. of West Springfield, MA announced today the awarding of a Power Generation Systems and Methods Patent from the European Patent and Trademark Office, The Hague, Netherlands. The patent’s methodology when applied will not only increase the overall efficiency of diesel and natural gas fired power plants up to 60 megawatts (MWs), but will also significantly reduce and lower the amount of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) that is released into the atmosphere, thus lowering greenhouse gas emissions and slowing down climate change.
This patent is similar to one of the three recently awarded US Patents and its methodology will make use of thermodynamic principles for the Combined Heat & Power (CHP) industry, the production of electricity in Europe for the grid, distributed power for the electric grid and will make use of 100% of the waste heat. Use of the patent will also help strengthen an electrical grid against natural disasters and cyber-attacks. The European Patent Office has published the bibliographic details of this application on 29 March 2017 with the number EP 3146180.
Along with the aforementioned three US Patents combined with the issuance of this European Patent, Scuderi Group Inc’s foreign and domestic patent portfolio has grown to over 350 patents for internal combustion engine technology, energy storage, power generation and commodity production.
Sal Scuderi, Presidential of Scuderi Group, Inc. stated “we been working with several entities in the domestic and foreign alternative energy sector and clean energy markets that have indicated a willingness to license our technology and we along with them are reviewing these opportunities for joint endeavors at numerous locations in North America, Latin America and Europe”. Scuderi added “the interest in these patents has significantly increased with the last few weeks from a variety of entities in the energy sector for building distributed, dynamic micro-power grids and I expect within the next 12 to 18 months that we’ll see more opportunities with our technology as we begin to expand our marketing and sales efforts and as the technology continues to prove itself out”.
The following European Patent is applicable for licensing to those who seek to carve out a competitive edge in the alternative energy market, renewable energy market and the Combined Heat & Power (CHP) market in Europe.
EP 3146180 – POWER GENERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS: Describes various methods of splitting generation output between the grid and a host customer load requirements.
This issuance of this patent combined with the following recently received US Patents helps to strengthen Scuderi Groups methodology for producing electricity for the grid, while using up to 100% of the waste heat for the production of numerous commodities that require heat during the manufacturing process. By utilizing the patents and by setting up a distributed, dynamic micro-power grid, many of the commodities produced in North America, Latin America or Europe may actually be done through a smaller, more cost effective distributed plan with close to a zero environmental impact as well.
1)14/708,324 POWER GENERATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS: Describes various methods of splitting generation output between the grid and a host customer load requirements.
2) 20160314544 – METHOD OF PROVIDING ELECTRIC POWER TO A HOST: Describes a business method of providing electric power and energy to a host both directly to the host and through the electric grid.
3) 62/341,029 – METHOD OF UTILIZING A COMBINED HEAT AND POWER SYSTEM TO PRODUCE ELECTRICTY FOR A WHOLESALE ELECTRICITY MARKET: Describes a method to generate power to the grid while simultaneously producing a commodity from the systems waste heat.
These alternative, clean energy patents and their respective methods came from close to 12 years of research. By using or licensing these patented methodologies, the ability to produce electricity and manufacture products that use heat will become more cost effective, energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Scuderi Group, Inc has already issued a license for these patents to a clean energy company that is currently working in the growing United States domestic alternative energy market.
