Launceston, Australia — (PRESS RELEASE JET) — 10/24/2017 — Hello Fred is an Australian based startup that will create eco-friendly and natural products for babies using recycled and organic materials where they can, while supporting independent artists from around the world. Started by a mother and a daughter, the items created by Hello Fred are going to be beautiful as well as very practical. They have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support from parents worldwide and they are welcoming everyone to generously help them in reaching their goal.
“We are taking pride in creating beautiful items for babies, in the most eco-friendly way we can, while raising awareness about recycling and the environment”, said Amy, the co-creator of Hello Fred. Amy has founded this startup alongside her mother Tracy, who has years of experience in creating childrens items.
Following are some of the key items that will be made by Hello Fred:
– Playmats & change mats – using recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise end up in landfill
– Wraps/blankets – made from organic sweet pea muslin and GOTS certified organic cotton knit
– Beanies – made from GOTS certified organic cotton knit
– Bibs – made from GOTS certified organic cotton knit waterproof on the back
– Lots more to come!
Each of these items will be made in 14 different fabric designs created by an independent artist from somewhere around the world, and printed with an eco-friendly, biodegradable ink.
The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at: www.kickstarter.com/projects/1014630067/eco-friendly-natural-recycled-organic-and-beautifu and their goal is to raise a sum of AU $5000 with this project. Moreover, they are offering great reward for each pledge made to the campaign with worldwide shipping. More details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page of the project.
