Press Release updated: Oct 27, 2017 17:17 EDT

Dental and vision insurer Solstice Benefits, Inc. (Solstice) continues to possess the largest Open Access Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) provider networks in Florida and New York, as confirmed by the latest Netminder provider network report. Solstice has maintained this status for several years, allowing them to offer their members choices when it comes to selecting a network general dentist.

Florida and New York have been dubbed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAS). This means these states need the most dental professionals to meet the needs of their population.

“Knowing that access to affordable dental care is imperative for consumers to maintain overall health, I’m excited that Solstice is leading the way in creating an expansive network of general dentists so our members will have quick and convenient access to the care they need when they need it,” said Solstice Chief Operating Officer Carlos Ferrera.
