The FPGA Hardware platform is highly efficient, can be easily configured and is developed to achieve optimal performance for multiple applications. It has been designed using Verilog and validated using Xilinx Kintex7 FPGA technology. The platform supports a configurable number of input channels, where each channel can act as LVDS (Low-voltage differential signaling) and can run at speeds up to 150Mbps. It has a single output channel which also acts as LVDS. The output channel supports variable data rates from 100Mbps to 1Gbps, in the steps of 10Mbps. The platform also supports onboard data storage.
The platform is utilized for live image display and internet video broadcasting of celestial objects in space devices and related applications. Numerous photo and video applications in High-Performance devices like Camcorders, Smart Phones, Tables also require such digital data generator and formatter.
