After learning “web assembly in Rust: A Primer” from Aniket Deshpande in the January, this month the company will discuss the little-known, yet amazingly important topic “RIO – The Standard Library for Haskell?”
For those who are new to the term “RIO,” it is important to note that it is not only a library. Rather, it is a collection of solutions to some of the most common problems in the Haskell ecosystem as well as a description of the best practices and design patterns. It also introduces RIO monad, which actually promotes a drastic simplification over the common approach of endless stack transformers.
Alexey Kuleshevich, a software engineer at FP Complete, will be the instructor at the webinar. Being enthusiastic about new technology, Alexey has a knack of making complex things simpler. Some of the topics he will discuss at the webinar include, basics of RIO and how it is different from PRELUDE, which scenarios is RIO good for, what are the general benefits of using RIO, how is it different to use RIO as a library vis-à-vis using it for the purpose of application development, etc.
The webinar is scheduled for March 6, 2019, at 10:00 AM PST. It is going to benefit all those who want to turn technology into a blessing for themselves and for the world.
One can expect this webinar, like every other webinar in the past, to be an amazing learning experience. At the end of the webinar, the attendees are also allowed to ask their questions to further clarify their understanding of the subject.
The registration date may end soon. If you are interested in attending, it is advised to register as to the earliest.
